Little Corker

Built in 1966 by Lavers Boatyard, Dartmouth, she is a 12ft clinker motor launch powered by an inboard, 5HP Stuart Turner. Her beam is 5'6" and she draws 10". Her construction is mahogany planks on oak frames, the seats are mahogany, floor boards pine, the floor bearers have been replaced with oak. The plywood engine box has been modified to provide a small "table top" with fiddles, the forward and aft storage locker doors have been replaced in teak faced plywood. The transom is a single piece of mahogany.

She has undergone extensive restoration work over the last few years and is in excellent, sound condition. The engine, believed to be original, was stripped down and found to be in good order, with no worn components. It was reassembled with new gaskets, and a replacemeent engine tray fabricated using the original as a pattern. The engine control panel and wiring have been replaced, as the original had suffered corrosion and work hardening over the years.
