We are very proud of the PBW 30, which won Best In Show at the Northern Classic Boat Rally.
The PBW 30 is a contemporary take on a traditional type of launch. We drew inspiration from the Edwardian steam launch “Bat", currently in the collection at the Windermere Nautical Trust, to copy what we considered to be the "perfect" sheer line.
Designed to be a roomy day boat, capable of carrying up to 8 people in comfort and style, she is an extremely attractive launch and a pleasure to drive.
Interior
Her construction perfectly epitomises our philosophy. A traditional looking boat finished in beautiful local timbers of oak, cherry, maple and douglas fir, But her hull is strip planked cedar reinforced with carbon aramid cloth and epoxy resins, making her very light, strong and maintenance free.
