We are currently restoring Driac 2 for a local client.
A great project for the team, with a huge jobs list, including
reframing, replanking, new stem, new transom, 30 new deck beams, new deck, new interior, new engine and electrical systems, plumbing and the list goes on.....

The yacht was in a sorry state when she arrived, all her frames very rotten and her fixings had corroded in the hull planking.
The interior was very tired and had been choped and changed over the years, so the decision was taken to replace completely. As a result we have had a free hand to create something new based on the specific needs of the owner.
She is now structurely sound, with the new deck fitted and being finished then new interior currently being installed and we have a provisional launch date of April 08.

The interior is being built in Cumbrian oak, a material we love working with and in this case the client had a big stock of lovely timber.
